UMass Memorial Health is seeking a hospital transporter to assist in moving patients, specimens, and equipment around the facility. This role supports patient care by delivering items, transporting materials, and maintaining clean, organized work areas.

Responsibilities include assisting in patient room preparation, stocking supplies, and ensuring safe transport of patients and equipment across departments. Ex-choice: evening or rotating shifts may apply; high school or equivalent required.

Qualificações

• Knowledge of equipment and supplies related to patient care.
• Ability to read, write, converse, and understand English.
• Ability to take direction, set priorities and organize work assignments.

Responsabilidades

• Transport patients and specimens and equipment throughout the hospital.
• Assist in moving, lifting, and positioning patients.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of assigned unit and equipment.
