Qualifications

• Associate's degree preferred.
• 0-1 years related work experience required.
• Experience with computer systems and MS Office applications.
• Preferred: knowledge of medical terminology and hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with Admission Facilitators to assign beds based on clinical need.
• Enters, updates, and maintains data into electronic registration system.
• Accurate data entry of death certificates using MA eRegistry; report to Medical Examiner as needed.
• Monitors EPIC census numbers and generates reports from the EPIC system.
• Answers multi-telephone lines, maintaining patient confidentiality with courtesy.
• Interacts with nurses, physicians, directors, Medical Examiner, Funeral directors, and Unit coordinators.
