R1 RCM Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Representative (Patient Registration) at Ascension St. Vincent Anderson Hospital to assist patients with check-in, answer questions, and collect accurate information with compassion and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service experience.
• Ability to type quickly, answer phones, and learn new technology.
• Willing to work in a hospital/lab environment and see illness and injuries.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients, collect information, and answer questions.
• Input data across multiple screens for physician and nurse check-ins.
• Answer phones and intake patient and insurance information.
• Maintain speed and accuracy while typing to match speaking pace.
• Handle interruptions from clinicians and continue registration.
• Build rapport and ease patient anxiety by listening attentively.
