Job summary

Inform Diagnostics, a Fulgent Genetics Company, is seeking a Certified Pathologist Assistant PRN to support grossing, microscopic imaging, and discrepancy research under the Grossing Manager.

The role covers histology processes, case setup, tissue grossing, and workflow coordination. Travel up to 25% is expected, and candidates must be ASCP/APPA certified with a BS in biology or chemistry and CLIA high-complexity eligibility.

Qualifications

• Must be currently certified as a Pathologists' Assistant by ASCP or APPA.
• Bachelor’s degree in biology or chemical science; Master’s degree preferred.
• Must meet CLIA ’88 criteria to perform high-complexity testing.
• Knowledge of pathology procedures, CAP guidelines.
• Ability to train grossing technicians and dictation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform dissection and histologic sampling per CAP guidelines.
• Describe gross features and section specimens for histology.
• Assist management with training Grossing Technicians.
• Work weekends to maintain fixation times for breast specimens.
• Photomicrographs and QC during image capture.
