Job summary

Incyte Diagnostics is seeking a Pathologists’ Assistant I/II to perform gross examinations and assist with autopsies, while mentoring other staff. You will document findings, photograph specimens, and ensure a clean, compliant laboratory environment.

You will collaborate with pathologists on frozen sections, autopsies, and intraoperative consultations, maintaining professional communication and safety standards. DOE salary range listed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a NAACLS-accredited Pathologists’ Assistant program.
• ASCP certification (PA) required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a pathology or laboratory setting; complex cases a plus; PA II level consideration.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, mentoring lab staff and assistants.
• Perform gross examination, dissection, and dictation of surgical specimens.
• Capture and maintain high-quality photographs for reports and teaching.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
