Job summary

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist with 2+ years of experience across multiple surgical specialties for a hospital OR position.

The candidate must have BLS from the American Heart Association and licensure if applicable, with OR experience across ortho, neuro, general, Robot Xi, urology, GYN and endovascular/vascular procedures; ENT experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• On-call one night per week with 20-minute response time.

• Support procedures across specialties in a facility known for pioneering techniques.

Job description

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist with 2+ years of experience across multiple surgical specialties for a hospital OR position.

• Experience in ortho, neuro, general, Robot Xi, urology, GYN, and endovascular/vascular procedures required

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Surgical Services department supporting a full spectrum of surgical procedures, from elective to critical or life-saving cases
• Experience required in ortho, neuro, general, Robot Xi, urology, GYN, and endovascular/vascular procedures
• ENT experience preferred
• Day shift schedule consisting of three 12-hour shifts from 6:45am-7:15pm
• On-call requirement of one night per week with a 20-minute response time
• Weekend coverage of one 7a-7p Saturday and Sunday shift per month
• Support a full range of surgical procedures across multiple specialties in a facility known for pioneering surgical techniques and tools
• Facility maintains a strict attendance policy with termination after three absences or late arrivals of more than 20 minutes, with exceptions reviewed for documented medical situations
• No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested
• Local candidates within a 35-mile radius of the facility are considered local travelers and subject to a reduced travel rate
• Full-time McLaren employees are not eligible for contract hire within six months of their employment end date
