Job summary
Kennedy University Hospitals, Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee 24/7 hospital medicine operations across multiple teams. You will drive KPI reporting, budgeting, and strategic plans while coordinating with HR and physician contracting to meet business needs.
The role requires strong project management, process improvement, and stakeholder collaboration to enhance patient care quality and efficiency across the enterprise.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare or business; 5–10 years in quality, process improvement, finance, or change management.
- MBA/MHA/MSN or related degree; 3–5 years in Healthcare management OR completion of Administrative Residency/ Fellowship, 1–2 years: Quality, Process Improvement, and Change Management
- Strong budgeting, analytics, and project management capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Oversee 24/7 hospital medicine operations and KPI reporting.
- Coordinate with HR for hiring plans and with physician contracting to ensure contracts are accurate.
- Develop and implement departmental strategic and operational plans.
- Manage contracting, budgeting, and financial reconciliation; lead quality/safety initiatives.
- Lead process improvement projects and coordinate cross‑department initiatives.
