Starch Pet Hospital is seeking a results-driven Hospital Manager to lead our Des Moines team. You will own the hospital's performance, drive revenue, manage costs, and foster a patient-centered culture with exceptional customer service.

This is a hands-on, on-site role that collaborates closely with the Managing Veterinarian. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in a managerial role (customer service focus) and a bachelor's degree in business or related field.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of managerial experience including customer service.
• Experience in hospital, retail, or service-based industry a plus.
• Annual Base Salary - DOE; Annual Bonus Opportunity paid quarterly; Health Insurance; 401k; PTO; CE stipends.

Responsabilidades

• Complete ownership of P&L, accountable for the hospital's performance
• Collaborate with regional leadership to identify trends and forecast the hospital's needs
• Manage accounts receivable
• Oversee hospital inventory and control facility and administrative costs
• Manage payroll for hospital staff
• Develop the hospital schedule and manage labor costs
• Champion change and identify, document, share, and promote best practices
• Lead the hospital team to enhance processes and workflows, covering client service, operations, and administrative tasks
• Implement new technologies and initiatives to improve operational efficiency
• Establish and drive the culture of the hospital
• Track and maintain current licensures for all DVMs
• Provide feedback and handle challenging conversations
• Demonstrate and reinforce the highest level of client service
