You will assist with menu selections, ensure diet orders are followed, and coordinate with nursing and nutrition staff to deliver accurate meals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Previous customer service experience, including telephone based support, preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu selections that align with prescribed diet orders.
• Adjust meal selections according to physician, registered dietitian, and nursing instructions.
• Ensure patients receive appropriate nourishment at each meal.
• Document calorie counts and nutritional intake as assigned.
• Communicate patient concerns to clinical and production teams.
• Answer department phone lines professionally and timely.
• Deliver meal trays to patients when required.
• Uphold hospital policies and service standards.
