Job summary

Mass General Brigham's Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital is seeking a Nutrition Assistant to deliver high-quality nutritional care to patients and support diet restrictions.

The role involves am/pm shifts, assisting with menu choices, coordinating meals, documenting intake, and communicating with clinical teams. A high school diploma is preferred; healthcare and customer service experience are valued. On-site, per diem position at 1153 Centre Street.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Experience in healthcare with patient contact preferred.
• Customer service via telephone experience preferred.
• Must read, write and clearly speak English.

Responsibilities

• Attends department meetings, monthly in-services, training classes, etc.
• Assists patients with menu choices that fit within diet restrictions.
• Adjusts patient meal selections to comply with diet and MD/RD/RN instructions.
• Ensures patients receive nourishment at each meal and notifies RN if not.
