UCI Health in Orange and Irvine seeks a Nursing Assistant to support professional staff by taking vitals, assisting with patient hygiene, and keeping the unit clean and safe. You will help stock supplies and operate equipment as directed, while performing routine clerical tasks.

Required CNA certification or enrollment, English proficiency, and BLS upon hire; weekend/holiday availability is required. Join a leading academic health system dedicated to patient care and education.

Qualifications

• Understanding of basic medical terminology.
• Must float between the Orange and Irvine locations as needed.
• Must be able to read, write and speak effectively in English.
• Certified Nursing Assistant or enrolled in accredited nursing program with completion of at least 1 clinical semester.
• Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively in a therapeutic way.
• Demonstrated patient care experience, preferably in an acute care setting.
• Current BLS certification upon hire (must be issued by the AHA).
• Approved workplace violence responder training program within 30 days of hire and annually thereafter.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.

Responsabilités
