UCI Health seeks a dedicated Nursing Assistant to support licensed clinicians in patient care across Orange County locations. Key duties include taking vital signs, helping with hygiene and elimination, and maintaining a clean, safe unit environment.

You will assist with stocking supplies, operate hospital equipment as directed, and handle routine clerical tasks. Successful candidates will have basic medical terminology knowledge, strong English communication, and current BLS certification;

Qualifications

• Understanding of basic medical terminology.
• Must float between Orange and Irvine locations as needed.
• Certified Nursing Assistant or LVN, or enrolled in accredited nursing program with at least 1 clinical semester.
• Must read, write and speak English effectively.
• Must demonstrate therapeutic communication.
• Demonstrates patient care experience, preferably in an acute care setting.
• Current BLS certification issued by the AHA.
• Completed workplace violence responder training within 30 days of hire and annually thereafter.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
