Job summary

Humboldt Park Health in Chicago seeks an experienced IT professional to manage LAN/WAN/VLAN networking across the hospital’s infrastructure. The role requires 5+ years of IT experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, and certifications such as A+, MCP, MCSE.

You will install, configure, and maintain network systems, ensure security, and provide training to the IT staff within a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IT/networking.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• A+ / MCSE certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accesses, proposes, and delivers LAN/WAN/VLAN networking solutions.
• Researches and recommends network and communication technologies.
• Maintains system standards, procedures, and security.
• Installs, configures, supports and maintains LAN/WAN, internet systems, and firewalls.
• Performs routine backups and disaster recovery planning.
• Provides technical training to IT staff.
