Job summary

SGI in Chicago seeks an experienced Network Manager to lead the Network Engineering team within a healthcare organization. You will design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure across LAN, WAN, wireless, VoIP, VPN, and Internet/Intranet environments.

Initial onsite engagement for 2 months with a transition to a hybrid model (3 days onsite per week). You will mentor staff, partner with IT and security on architecture, upgrades, and strategic initiatives, and ensure

Qualifications

• 7+ years of network engineering experience including LAN, WAN, and VoIP.
• 5+ years IT management experience in healthcare environments.
• Experience leading technical teams and network operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and provide technical guidance to the Network Engineering team.
• Oversee design, implementation, maintenance, and support of enterprise network infrastructure.
• Manage network services including LAN, WAN, wireless, VoIP, VPN, and Internet/Intranet environments.
• Ensure network availability, performance, security, reliability, and scalability.
• Oversee network monitoring and operational support functions.
• Partner with IT and security stakeholders on network architecture, upgrades, and strategic initiatives.
• Lead, mentor, and develop technical staff.
• Maintain network standards, documentation, and infrastructure diagrams.
• Support technology projects, infrastructure upgrades, and budget planning.
