Ochsner LSU Health is seeking a Materials Handler to manage storeroom inventory and deliver supplies across hospital departments. The role requires organizing carts, logging deliveries, and ensuring accurate charging of items removed from inventory.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and forklift certification. Healthcare experience is preferred; 24/7 availability may be required.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No prior work experience required; healthcare environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license if operating a company vehicle.
• Forklift certification required within 30 days at Warehouse District Row.
• Supply Chain or Inventory Management certification preferred.

Mansioni

• Maintains inventory and cleanliness in storeroom and par locations.
• Ensures supplies are accurately charged when removing from inventory.
• Organizes delivery carts by delivery locations.
• Delivers according to receiving report designations.
• Keeps a legible delivery log for non PO deliveries.
• Obtains signatures for all deliveries.
• Inspects and receives deliveries for hospital, clinic and admin areas.
• Performs inventory tasks including cycle counts and year-end inventories.
• Addresses internal and external customer needs.
• Picks up and delivers supplies, equipment, mail, pharmaceuticals to offsite locations.
