Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day activities of the purchasing department: receiving, labeling, stocking, auditing, inventory, and distribution of supplies.
• Process hospital orders in Meditech and maintain accurate data; enter purchase orders daily.
• Research prices, verify pricing at order placement, and manage vendor terms.
• Monitor back orders and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery and substitutions when needed.
• Negotiate with vendors to reduce costs and maintain budgetary controls.
