Job summary

BioMedical Services, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Manager of Materials to lead hospital-wide purchasing, inventory control, and material systems. You will oversee acquisitions, distribution, and financial controls while ensuring adherence to budgets and contracts.

This role requires at least five years of management experience in Materials Management in acute care, a Bachelor’s degree, and strong negotiation and analytical skills. Full-time Days.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years management experience in Material Management in an acute care facility preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or sufficient equivalent experience in Materials Management.
• Must be computer literate and have working experience using software used in Materials Management.
• Effective negotiation skills and analytical ability.

Responsibilities

• Directs hospital-wide purchasing and Material Management functions to manage and control the flow of supplies and equipment from procurement to disposition.
• Oversees purchasing, inventory control, receiving and asset management; ensures adherence to budgets and contracts.
• Analyzes department operations reports and budget adherence; participates in hospital committees.
