Job summary

Baptist Memorial Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Materials Management Coordinator to oversee hospital-wide inventory, forecast needs, and manage orders for medical and office supplies. You will ensure accurate labeling, charge capture, and timely payment coordination across departments.

This role partners with clinical, purchasing, and finance teams to maintain reliable supply availability, support audits, and handle routine cycle counts and data entry in ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma required; some college preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify inventory needs for all hospital departments; order medical and office supplies as needed and process returns of unused/mis-ordered items in a timely manner.
• Notify leadership of recalled medical supplies and promptly remove recalled items from clean supply rooms.
• Stock, label, and maintain charged medical and office supplies.
• Maintain and organize all medical supply and office storage locations.
• Communicate with leadership to ensure adequate inventory levels; elevate special inventory needs.
• Coordinate purchase orders and packing slips to support timely and accurate payment processing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
