Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of building maintenance experience.
• On the job training in one or more building trades.
• Completion of a vocational/trade school program.
• Two years of building maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Performs electrical repairs including switches, ballasts, and motors.
• Performs plumbing tasks such as drains and fixtures.
• Performs minor carpentry for doors, shelving, and locks.
• Repairs plaster, brickwork or concrete as needed.
• Maintains hospital equipment and systems via preventive maintenance.
• Inspects safety equipment and ensures compliance with standards.
