Job summary
Advocate Health is seeking a Stationary Engineer to operate and maintain campus HVAC systems, including boilers and chillers, ensuring safety, efficiency, and comfort for occupants. You will log maintenance tasks, respond to alarms, and perform preventive maintenance as needed.
Ideal candidates have at least 4 years in stationary engineering, strong knowledge of codes, and proficiency with CMMS and building automation.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of stationary engineering experience.
- Advanced knowledge of codes/regulations pertaining to equipment & operations.
- Experience with CMMS and building automation systems.
Responsibilities
- Operate HVAC equipment including boilers, chillers, cooling towers, and fans to optimize efficiency and safety.
- Maintain accurate records of startup, failures, and repairs in CMMS and logbooks.
- Respond to alerts, troubleshoot issues, and perform preventive maintenance with minimal guidance.
- Read blueprints and manuals to complete assignments and support small projects.
