Job summary

Tenet Healthcare in Bartlett, TN is seeking an HVAC Technician to maintain and repair facility refrigeration and HVAC systems across hospital operations. The role includes inspections, installations, and component upgrades to ensure safe, efficient performance.

The candidate will assist in planning expansions and budgeting for operating and capital needs while performing related duties to HVAC maintenance and inventory control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years HVAC/Air Conditioning experience.
• Certified HVAC Technician.
• Preferred: graduate of trade or vocational school in related field.

Responsibilities

• Maintains facility refrigeration and HVAC equipment and systems.
• Repairs and replaces refrigeration and HVAC equipment.
• Inspects, installs, repairs and replaces pipes, fittings and equipment to maintain heating, cooling and ventilation systems of the hospital.
• Installs new system components, filters, valves, thermostats, BAS components.
• Assists Director in planning for expansion/renovation projects, and forecasting operating budget and capital needs.
• Performs other related tasks to maintenance, service, repair, testing, inspection and installation of all HVAC systems and components.
• Maintenance of inventory parts and supplies.
• At management's discretion, performs other related duties consistent with minimum level of preparation and training required and department demands/needs.
• Performs related duties as required.

Job description

Under general direction, inspects, installs, repairs and replaces pipes, fittings and equipment to maintain the heating, cooling and ventilation systems of the hospital.

Installs new system components, filters, valves, thermostats, BAS components, etc.

Assists Director in planning for expansion/renovation projects, and forecasting operating budget and capital needs.

Performs other related tasks to the maintenance, service, repair, testing, inspection and installation of all HVAC systems and components; maintenance of inventory parts and supplies.

Performs related duties as required.

Required

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience : Three years of experience working for a HVAC/ Air Conditioning Co or a mechanical contractor.
• Certification: Certified HVAC Technician.

• Education : Graduate of trade or vocational school in related field
