Job summary

Unity Village seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to install, maintain, and repair plumbing and HVAC equipment across campus facilities. You will perform routine maintenance on boilers, chillers, and cooling towers, and you’ll use BAS/EMS tools like Metasys/Automated Logic.

The role requires self-motivation, adherence to safety policies, and participation in after-hours on-call shifts. A high school diploma, VAC/608 refrigeration certification, and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Current Refrigeration Transition and Recovery Universal Certification or 608 Certification
• Valid Driver's license
• Vocational or technical school in heating, ventilating, air conditioning strongly, preferred.
• Chiller and low-pressure Steam experience Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing and HVAC equipment compliant with codes.
• Perform routine maintenance on Boilers, Chillers, and Cooling Towers.
• Strong knowledge of BAS/EMS; Unity's Metasys/Automated Logic system preferred.
• Own Preventive Maintenance program within assigned area.
• Coordinate work orders and respond to hazards promptly.
• Work independently with on-call rotation and after-hours support.
