Job summary
Harborview-Health-Systems is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our team and keep our facilities safe, well-maintained, and compliant. The role supports a faith-based organization focused on caring for caregivers and residents, with top pay and strong benefits.
You will perform routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, respond to requests, and help ensure life safety and CMS-regulated standards across our site, including emergency maintenance support and safety drills.
Qualifications
- Experience in drywall, taping, painting, and using power tools.
- NFPA knowledge and experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance.
- Availability to respond to emergency maintenance needs as required.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance of facility mechanical systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance and maintain all aspects of the building and site in excellent repair and working order.
- Prioritize and complete work orders in TELS.
- Maintain life safety compliance per CMS regulations.
- Support survey readiness and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Duties as assigned.
