Job summary
Azalea Health Center by Harborview is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to help uphold a safe, well-maintained facility for residents and staff. You will be responsible for routine and preventative maintenance, ensuring life safety compliance, and handling work orders to keep the building in excellent repair.

Qualifications
- Experience in drywall, taping, painting, and proficient with the use of power tools.
- NFPA knowledge and experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance is a plus.
- Availability to respond to emergency maintenance needs as required.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance of facility mechanical systems
- Perform preventative maintenance practice and maintain all aspects of the building and site in excellent repair and working order
- Prioritize and complete work orders in TELS
- Maintain life safety compliance per CMS regulations
- Support survey readiness and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Duties as assigned
