Job summary

Old Vineyard Behavioral Health Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure safe, efficient operation of hospital buildings and grounds. The role involves skilled maintenance across trades, driving duties for supply runs, and on-call coverage once every four weeks.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in healthcare/property maintenance, a valid NC driver’s license, and the ability to work independently under pressure while maintaining professional standards.

Qualifications

• High school graduate required.
• Minimum three years’ facility maintenance experience in healthcare or property management.
• Current NC driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs and maintenance (painting, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC).
• Inspect buildings/grounds for safety issues; maintain grounds and walkways.
• Prepare facilities for events; respond to alarms per safety policies.
• Repair and service HVAC systems and equipment.
