Job summary

Memorial Community Health, Inc. is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities Maintenance team at Memorial Hospital. This full-time role operates Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.

to 5:00 p.m., with rotating weekends and on-call requirements. The technician will help maintain a safe, clean, and well-functioning environment for patients, visitors, and staff. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior maintenance experience preferred
Knowledge of construction, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and mechanics
Must be available to take call and respond within 30 minutes

Responsibilities

Monitor, inspect, and ensure the safe and efficient function of all buildings, equipment, systems and grounds.
Install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures including pipe and electrical systems.
Performs ground maintenance in a timely and efficient manner.
Assists the Maintenance Supervisor in setting maintenance practices and completing projects.
Maintains utilities such as electricity, natural gas, heating, cooling, water, plumbing and communicates issues.
Follows HIPAA and regulatory requirements and maintains confidentiality of records.
Performs other duties as assigned.
