Job summary

Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking a Maintenance Tech to keep the 126-bed facility safe and functional. You will oversee HVAC operations using the Building Automation System and perform preventive maintenance in coordination with outside contractors.

You’ll conduct general repairs, painting, carpentry, plumbing, and grounds upkeep, while ensuring readiness for events and quick responses to alarms. On-call responsibilities are part of the role, supporting patient care environments.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma/GED, trade school and/or industry certifications.
• Experience: 5 years construction and/or Maintenance experience.
• Should be highly proficient in computer use.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HVAC systems and BAS; assist and manage HVAC contractors.
• General repair, painting, and maintenance of building.
• Maintain grounds; coordinate lawn care and snow removal contractors.
• Carry out routine carpentry and plumbing maintenance and repairs.
• Prepare facility for special functions (tables, chairs, equipment).
• Respond to alarms and codes per safety policies; provide on-call coverage.
