Job summary

UVA Health is seeking a Master Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift (2pm-10:30pm) with on-call responsibilities at the UVA Health Prince William Medical Center. The role covers building trades, repairs, and facility maintenance to support patient care in a dynamic health system.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED and 4+ years of healthcare maintenance experience, with proficiency in drywall, painting, carpentry, and HVAC; active driver's license required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical training in building trades preferred.
• Experience in plant operations and general maintenance in healthcare or similar.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and construct building components as per requests.
• Perform repairs focusing on surfaces, painting, flooring, and carpentry.
• Manage stock of materials and assist in safety and infection control policies.
• Interact with diverse stakeholders and work independently with supervision when needed.
