Job summary

Advocate Health's Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, IL is seeking a Maintenance Trades Specialist III - Plumber for a full-time 1st shift. You will perform preventive maintenance and repair of complex facility systems, including plumbing, electrical, and controls, ensuring reliability and safety.

The role requires 4+ years in industrial/trades maintenance, technical training, and a valid driver's license. Strong communication and BAS experience are essential, with on-call 24/7 coverage.

Qualifications

4+ years in industrial/trades maintenance or operations.
Valid driver’s license and relevant trade certification.
Strong written and verbal communication.
Experience with building automation systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on complex facility systems.
Diagnose and implement repairs for Utility and Infrastructure Systems.
Install/maintain building, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and controls systems.
Operate and monitor advanced utility equipment and building automation systems to troubleshoot issues.
Maintain vacuum, compressed air, and medical gas systems.
Read blueprints and Life Safety drawings for task accuracy.
