PACS Group in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a dedicated cook to manage and operate the kitchen in the absence of the Dietary Supervisor. This hands-on role requires preparing tasteful meals, following menus, and portioning in large quantities for residents in a hospital or long-term care setting.

You will ensure food safety, record temperatures, prepare special diets, supervise dietary staff when needed, and maintain sanitation.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience as a cook in a hospital or long-term care facility preferred.
• ServSafe Certificate required.
• Ability to follow recipes and prepare meals in large quantities.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain kitchen and cooking area in a safe, orderly, clean and sanitary manner.
• Ability to prepare tasteful meals and to cook a variety of foods in large quantities.
• Record food temperatures and prepare special diets accurately.
• Assist with serving meals and supervise dietary staff in the absence of the Dietary Supervisor.
• Maintain cleaning schedules and ensure high sanitation standards.
