Job summary

BridgePoint Continuing Care Hospital – WJMC Campus in Marrero, LA is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. The role focuses on nursing care within the licensed scope for assigned patients, under RN supervision, ensuring high standards and patient safety.

WhatYou’llBe Doing:

Our Licensed Practical Nurse – LPN provides nursing care within the scope of licensure for assigned patients according to established nursing standards and hospital policies and procedures.The Licensed Practical Nurse – LPN performs specific nursing services, designed to promote and maintain health, prevent illness and injury, and provide care based on standards established or recognized by the DC Board of Nursing, provided that performance of such services is under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN, L.P.N., Licensed Vocational Nurse, LVN, L.V.,N

Requirements:

Education: Graduate of an accredited program for licensed practical nurses.

Licenses/Certification: Current Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN license from the Department of Health. BLS Required. ACLS preferred.

Experience: Minimum one year's prior experience in an acute care setting preferred.
