Job summary

BridgePoint Continuing Care Hospital – WJMC Campus in Marrero, LA is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our medically complex care unit. This full-time role offers day and night shifts with competitive hourly pay and shift differentials, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

As an LPN, you will provide nursing care under RN supervision, meet licensed requirements, and support patient recovery with compassionate, team-oriented care.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited program for licensed practical nurses.
• Licenses/Certification: Current LPN license from the Department of Health. BLS required. ACLS preferred.
• Experience: Minimum one year's prior experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the scope of licensure for assigned patients according to established nursing standards and hospital policies.
• Care provided under supervision of a Registered Nurse; perform nursing services to promote health and prevent illness.
• Work in a safety-sensitive role and follow DC Board of Nursing guidelines.

Rate of pay: $22.02 to $35.23 (plus Shift Diffs as applicable)

What You’ll Be Doing

Our Licensed Practical Nurse – LPN provides nursing care within the scope of licensure for assigned patients according to established nursing standards and hospital policies and procedures. The Licensed Practical Nurse – LPN performs specific nursing services, designed to promote and maintain health, prevent illness and injury, and provide care based on standards established or recognized by the DC Board of Nursing, provided that performance of such services is under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
