Responsibilities include coordinating specimen collection and processing activities, performing non-technical duties, and helping the department meet service, quality, and regulatory goals while maintaining a positive

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Vocational/Technical diploma preferred.
• Phlebotomy Certificate preferred.
• 1–3 years in specimen collection and processing.
• 1–3 years in a clinical laboratory setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the activities of non-technical support functions of the department on assigned shifts.
• Perform all non-technical duties within the department, including specimen collection, processing and referral testing.
• Support department goals for service, quality, regulatory compliance, financial performance, patient satisfaction and healthy work environment.
