HCA Florida University Hospital is seeking a Non-Technical Hospital Laboratory Coordinator to support non-technical functions and champion patient care in a fast-paced environment. The role emphasizes collaboration with the lab team and ensuring smooth operations across shifts.

Qualifications

• Vocational/Technical diploma preferred.
• Phlebotomy Certificate preferred.
• 1–3 years in specimen collection and processing.
• 1–3 years in a clinical laboratory setting.

You Will:

Coordinate the activities of non-technical support functions of the department on assigned shifts under the supervision of the department supervisor, manager, or director.

Perform all non-technical duties within the department. Functional areas may include, but are not limited to specimen collection, specimen processing and referral testing

Support the department in achieving department goals for service, quality, regulatory compliance, financial performance, patient satisfaction, healthy work environment, and integration of intra and inter-departmental activities.

You Should Have:

• A High School or GED required
• Vocational/Technical diploma preferred
• Phlebotomy Certificate preferred
• 1-3 years in specimen collection and processing
• 1-3 years in a clinical laboratory setting
