Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook meals following prepared menus and portion controls.
  • Maintain kitchen and cooking area in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition.
  • Record food temperatures and prepare pureed foods as needed.
  • Assist with serving meals and presentation of food to residents.
  • Supervise in the absence of the Dietary Supervisor and report concerns to management.
  • Participate in orientation and on-going training of dietary staff.
  • Adhere to cleaning schedules and sanitation standards.
