Ridgeview Institute Smyrna in Smyrna, GA is seeking a Cook to prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner for patients and staff, following approved menus and production sheets.

You will work with the kitchen team to ensure timely service, maintain high food safety standards, and adapt to busy periods. Requires 2+ years of quantity cooking experience, food handler permit, and sanitation training; shifts include weekends.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years experience in quantity cooking.
• Basic knowledge of modified diets.
• Training in food service sanitation and possession of a food handler’s permit.
• Experience utilizing industrial kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Some prior kitchen supervisory experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner for patients and staff.
• Follow recipes, measure, weigh, and mix ingredients according to production sheets.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and sanitize equipment and utensils.
• Set up workstations with required ingredients and equipment.
• Monitor inventory levels and adapt to high-pressure service periods.
