Job summary

AdventHealth in Texas is seeking a dedicated kitchen associate to prepare patient, retail, and catering meals following production records. Role requires quick, accurate prep, inventory management, and strict sanitary practices.

Candidate should have basic math, strong English communication, and general foodservice knowledge; willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays. Training provided; benefits included from day one.

Qualifications

Knowledge of cooking methods and food preparation.
Excellent English communication abilities.
Therapeutic diet knowledge preferred.
Experience in food industry required.
Ability to multitask and make quick decisions under pressure.
Basic computer skills (Word, Excel).
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to follow instructions and maintain sanitation and safety.
Familiarity with recipes, quantities, and sanitary procedures.
Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Prepare patient, retail, and catering meals following production records.
Review pull sheets and organize ingredients for service periods.
Maintain clean, sanitary kitchen and record temperatures per regulations.
Manage inventory: sort, label, date, rotate stock.
Collaborate with managers and team to meet operational goals and support service delivery.
Perform other duties as assigned.
