Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Cook I to prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold foods in a fast-paced kitchen at UNIVERSITY HOSPITALS PORTAGE MEDICAL CENTER. You will follow recipes, ensure safety and sanitation, and support kitchen teamwork for quality dining experiences.

Responsibilities include tracking production, maintaining stations, and complying with all food-handling standards while working part-time shifts.

Qualifications

• Basic cooking knowledge and food-handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of hot and cold food items according to recipes and Sodexo standards.
• Ensure quality, presentation, and safe food handling in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Assist with production planning and accurate portioning.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation and proper sanitation.
• Follow directions and safety guidelines during all shift activities.
• Attend shifts on time and perform other duties as assigned.
