Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Cook at HCA HEALTHCARE HEALTH PARK MOB, BRENTWOOD to accurately prepare, portion, cook, and present hot and cold foods for all meals and events in line with culinary standards.

The role requires safety and sanitation, ability to stand for long periods, reading recipes, following instructions, and 0–2 years of related experience. Full-time benefits include paid time off, medical, dental, vision, tuition reimbursement, 401k, and more.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• 0 to 2 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of basic operation of equipment and food-handling procedures preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to read and follow a recipe unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food in accordance with current applicable standards and guidelines.
• Follow basic recipes and product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, and serving a variety of foods.
• Taste products, estimate food requirements, check production, and requisition supplies and equipment.
• Significant walking or other mobility; stand for extended periods.
