Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a full-time Food Production employee in Burlington, WI. The role involves daily production tasks in Food and Nutrition, with AM shifts and occasional PM, every other weekend, and holiday rotation.

Candidate must complete ServSafe within 1 year, have a High School diploma, and typically 3 years in food production in institutional settings. Strong time management and customer-oriented skills are required.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with diet restrictions and ability to adapt recipes accordingly.
• Ability to measure and scale amounts of ingredients used in a recipe.

Responsibilities

• Reviews production sheets and recipes to ensure quality and quantity needed for items to prepare.
• Measures and mixes ingredients according to recipe using kitchen equipment.
• Bakes, roasts, broils and steams meat, fish, vegetables and other foods per recipes.
• Garnishes, displays and serves food items according to standards and recipes.
• Ensures proper storage and rotation of inventories in refrigerators and freezers.
• Monitors safe food handling techniques and contamination prevention.
