Melrose/Wakefield Hospital, part of the Tufts Medicine system, is seeking an HVAC Technician to inspect, maintain, repair and operate central HVAC and refrigeration systems for continuous optimal performance.

This full-time role requires a license and several years of experience, with duties spanning troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and coordinating with teams to ensure safety and reliability. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current HVAC/Refrigeration License.
• Three (3) years of experience as an HVAC Technician.

Responsibilities

• Performs installation, preventative and corrective maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Responds to, evaluates, and rectifies problems with HVAC equipment and controls.
• Follows work orders, drawings, diagrams and verbal instructions.
• Plan, install, inspect, test, and maintain/repair systems and equipment.
• Check completed work for proper operation and function.
• Maintain recommended preventative maintenance schedule.
