Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a full-time HVAC/mechanical technician to install, operate, maintain, and repair hospital HVAC equipment and related systems at McLean Hospital. The role requires ability to work independently, relevant HVAC experience, and knowledge of building codes.

Licenses and clinical understanding are preferred. Typical duties include servicing ducts, refrigeration piping, control wiring, water treatment for cooling towers, and maintaining environmental conditions in

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
HVAC license preferred.
1–2 years HVAC experience; hospital mechanic experience 3–5 years preferred.
Knowledge of state and local building codes and blueprints.

Responsibilities

Install, operate, maintain, and repair hospital HVAC equipment and related systems.
Design, install, maintain, and repair air duct systems and refrigeration piping.
Service control systems and humidification according to manufacturers' specs.
Perform water treatment and maintenance for cooling towers and chillers.
Maintain environmental conditions in research, animal, and computer areas.
