Job summary

Medical City Lewisville, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking an HVAC Technician to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial HVAC systems across multiple hospital settings. Travel between acute care hospitals within the division is required.

The role emphasizes accurate recordkeeping and adherence to safety standards. The position requires a High School Diploma and 1 year of relevant experience, EPA certification, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience in a commercial, industrial, or healthcare environment required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain chilled water and centralized air handling units through regularly scheduled preventative maintenance activities.
• Perform coil cleanings, filter changes, test and balance activities, sensor calibrations, and UV bulb replacements.
• Belt alignments and replacement, drain pan treatments, damper calibration and repairs, cleaning interior of AHU.
• Perform electrical safety inspections.
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, specifications and operations manuals.
• Perform work to the highest industry and manufacturer recommended standards.
• Follow all applicable safety guidelines including lock-out/tag-out, OSHA, confined space, PPE, etc.
• Complete and document all work, equipment conditions and labor time using the centralized maintenance system.
