Job summary

HCA Healthcare is hiring an HVAC Technician for Medical City Lewisville to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial HVAC systems across hospital settings. You will read blueprints, balance systems, calibrate sensors, and maintain records using CMMS.

Travel to division facilities is required; a valid driver's license and EPA certification are mandatory. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7am to 3:30pm, with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year of experience in a commercial, industrial, or healthcare environment is required.
• EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification required (90 grace period to complete after hire).
• Valid Driver’s License in good standing required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain chilled water and centralized air handling units through regularly scheduled preventative maintenance activities.
• Perform coil cleanings, filter changes, test and balance activities, sensor calibrations, and UV bulb replacements.
• Belt alignments and replacement, drain pan treatments, damper calibration and repairs, cleaning interior of AHU.
• Perform electrical safety inspections.
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, specification and operations manuals.
• Perform work to the highest industry and manufacturer recommended standards.
• Follow all applicable federal, state, and local safety guidelines including lock-out/tag-out, OSHA, confined space, PPE, etc.
• Completes and documents all work, equipment conditions and labor time using HCA Healthcare Engineering Central Computerized Maintenance Management System.
