Job summary

Northern Montana Hospital is seeking an HR Assistant to provide administrative support to the HR department, handling recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration and employee record maintenance in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality while delivering excellent internal service. Occasional overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate required.
• Associates degree preferred.
• Experience in HR, hospital and/or office procedures is advantageous.
• Basic computer skills and MS Office familiarity.
• Knowledge of HR systems or employee relations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the HR department, including recruitment, onboarding, and orientation.
• Maintain accurate employee records and assist with benefits administration.
• Ensure HR compliance and respond to employee inquiries with excellent internal service.
• Assist with a fast-paced, collaborative office environment and occasional overtime.
