Job summary

Wentworth-Douglass Hospital, part of Mass General Brigham, is seeking a full-time Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe environment across the Medical Center and support infection prevention efforts. The role involves cleaning, waste handling, and operating cleaning equipment in accordance with safety standards.

Schedule is 10 AM to 8:30 PM on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Friday. Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent (0–1 year experience preferred).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• 0-1 year experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and how to apply safely.
• Able to operate cleaning tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning and sanitizing duties according to schedules and guidelines.
• Maintains assigned areas in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition.
• Removes and disposes of waste per procedures.
• Operates cleaning equipment and keeps safety practices.
• Participates in department meetings and performs other duties as assigned.
