Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Services professional for evening shifts in a 40-hour week onsite role at 1153 Centre Street.

You will perform cleaning and sanitation duties across patient areas, support room turnover, and maintain high standards of infection control within a busy hospital setting. The position requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 50 lb, and English proficiency to communicate with staff and patients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to understand and converse in English at a level that allows safe, efficient performance of the job.
• Be able to lift 25-50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Performs the 8-step cleaning procedures.
• daily cleaning.
• discharge cleaning.
• bed making.
• wall spots cleaning.
• toilet cleaning.
• high and low dusting.
• O.R. terminal cleaning.
• Completes work from previous shift and reports incomplete assignments.
• Cleans up organic waste as instructed by supervisor.
• Hangs cubical, shower, and window curtains.
• Disinfects and sanitizes IV poles, pumps, and other patient equipment.
• Performs all Environmental Services tasks per department guidelines.
• Cleans patient equipment and rooms as requested.
• Assists in moves and conference room setups as required.
• Clean up emergency spills when observed or requested.
