Job summary

College Medical Center Long Beach is seeking a Guest Relations Specialist to support the Main Entrance by delivering exceptional customer service, handling visitation requests, and addressing security concerns. You will provide courteous phone support to physicians, patients, family members, and staff, while maintaining a welcoming and orderly main entrance environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a customer related field and 1 year Guest Relations experience as a PBX Operator or receptionist.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and perform various tasks in English.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of guest relations within the Main Entrance, including customer service and visitation requests, security concerns, and overall appearance of the Main Entrance area.
• Provide accurate and courteous phone service to physicians, patients, family members, customers and hospital staff in a timely manner.
• Greet and interact with visitors in a courteous and respectful manner and maintain lobby knowledge (Lobby Track system).
