Job summary

UPMC is seeking a friendly, customer-focused Hospital Information Desk Guest Relations representative in Pittsburgh. You will greet visitors, provide directions, share visiting hours, and answer questions to ensure a smooth hospital experience.

You will handle parking payments, validate parking where needed, and balance daily receipts. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, professionalism, and confidentiality are required to serve patients and guests with dignity.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience: 1 year of Greeter or customer service work preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide appropriate assistance, guidance and direction.
• Answer or refer calls and share hospital information and visiting hours.
• Assist with parking payments and validate patient parking as needed.
• Balance receipts and prepare daily activity reports at shift end.
• Maintain lobby presentation and ensure workstations are stocked with materials.
• Respect patient confidentiality and follow visitation policies.
• Train and orient new Information Desk staff.
