Job summary

UPMC is seeking a Parking Attendant to warmly greet patients, visitors, and families as they arrive. You will safely park and retrieve vehicles, assist with wayfinding, and support parking operations across the campus with a strong focus on customer service.

You will work rotating shifts on the campus, with weekends and holidays required, and must maintain safety protocols while handling keys and equipment. Benefits are included within the comprehensive program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, visitors, and guests with professionalism and courtesy.
• Safely park and retrieve vehicles following safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate vehicle records and manage keys securely.
• Assist with traffic flow and parking operations in valet areas.
• Operate departmental communication equipment and respond to service requests.
• Provide wayfinding assistance and help guests navigate the campus.
• Assist with monitoring parking equipment and replenish tickets/paper.
• Support employee transportation services, including the shuttle when needed.
• Report vehicle damage or incidents to leadership immediately.
• Perform additional duties to support parking operations and customer service.
